James has almost completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Double major in Business Finance & Accounting) at the University of Adelaide and will continue studying after Uni to become a Charted Accountant. He is part of the Accounting team dealing with financial statements, tax returns. James is new to Inventure and is taking on more work and more work to expand his knowledge of the business & our clients.

John is Head of Business Services and brings a friendly and open attitude to his work.
John is a Chartered Accountant with extensive Big 4 and middle market experience. He draws on his thorough understanding of tax, accounting and business advisory practices to deliver well-rounded, considered and outcome-focused advice to his clients.

John’s personable, direct and honest approach is well respected and valued by our clients.

Being extremely competitive, John enjoys many sports, particularly field hockey, and is also quite partial to a game of chess. On the weekend you will find him spending time with his family, wife El and 2 children, William and Alice.

Yasmin, a dedicated professional, seamlessly merges her expertise in Accounting Practice Administration with her ongoing pursuit of a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of South Australia. With three years of hands-on experience, she adeptly supports Directors and Accountants by managing ATO and ASIC correspondence, overseeing client document preparation, and ensuring the office runs smoothly in collaboration with the Administration Manager.

Known for her welcoming demeanour and diligent work ethic, Yasmin cultivates strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. Her role within the accounting team extends beyond administrative tasks; she acts as a linchpin in facilitating seamless communication and operational efficiency. Yasmin's meticulous attention to detail and organizational finesse significantly streamlines processes, allowing the team to focus on strategic financial objectives.

Beyond her professional commitments, Yasmin indulges in a diverse array of hobbies. Whether savoring a glass of wine, riding the waves surfing, finding tranquility through yoga, or immersing herself in the pages of a good book, she embraces a well-rounded lifestyle. Amidst her academic pursuits and professional contributions, Yasmin cherishes moments shared with her partner, Jedd. Bernadette has experience and qualifications in administering accounting and payroll systems for small to large sized businesses. As one of Inventure’s Bookkeepers, she supports our clients with their monthly, quarterly and year-end administrative needs in relation to PAYG, superannuation, BAS, Workcover and timesheets.

Bernadette has a thorough understanding of Xero, MYOB and payroll systems and assists clients in harnessing these systems to enhance their business operations and reporting.

In Bernadettes spare time, she is spending time with her beautiful dog Milly. She is also an avid bookworm so you will catch her with a glass on wine reading a book

Amanda is our Administration Manager and has been a member of the Inventure team since 2008. She enjoys helping both clients and staff and brings 25 years of experience to her role.

Amanda’s career has included receptionist and personal assistant roles within a variety of industries.

In her spare time Amanda enjoys practicing yoga, listening to true crime podcasts, watching movies, spending time with her family and friends

Nabin is a member of the CAANZ and holds a Master degree in Professional Accounting (MPA) from Central Queensland University, Australia, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pokhara University, Nepal.

He has specialised in Management Accounting, Australian Taxation, and Finance. He has worked in a wide range of industries in various roles from managing his own business in early young age to banking, restaurants, and public practice. He’s areas of interest are management accounting and value add in client’s business through advisory.

He is a keen hiker/traveller - check out his hiking/travelling posts in his Instagram page here and say G’day if you see him wondering around Adelaide Hills on the weekends. He is an amateur cook – trying not to activate the fire alarm in the kitchen and loves to watch football - soccer I mean 😉.

With a diverse background spanning retail, agriculture, and the Building Industry, I've worn multiple hats from customer sales to administration and payroll, leveraging a Diploma in Accounting and a Cert IV in Business Administration. Soon to be a Certified Xero expert, my proficiency extends to Myob and ISO9001 certification. Numbers fuel my enthusiasm, complementing a fervor for small business growth.

Since joining Inventure partners eight years ago, Raquel has worked in the accounting, grants, and R&D teams. Raquel is currently Inventure Partners’ Senior R&D consultant and loves working with innovative business across all sectors, assisting them to maximise their R&D rebate and realise their R&D ambitions whilst driving company growth.

I’m part of the greyhound foster care program that help greyhounds transition to retirement after racing. I’ve had over 15 fosters in the past 6 years (with only four foster fails 😉),
